Our name
Aurum is the Latin for gold — a material valued for its purity, its resistance to corrosion and its permanence. It is the standard we set for our advice.
The name also speaks to our core focus. Uganda’s mineral and natural resources are central to its economic future, and the firm was founded to give exploration companies, producers and investors counsel equal to the scale of that opportunity — while serving the full range of commercial and personal legal needs.
